We started Telovendo because we were tired of receiving ‘rare’ plants that arrived mislabeled, unrooted, or half-dead.
From a Cluttered Grow Room to a Dedicated Nursery
It started with a Monstera Albo bought from an online “rare plant” seller. What arrived looked nothing like the photos — it was tiny, barely variegated, and stuffed bare-root into a plastic bag during a January cold snap. It survived, barely, but the frustration stuck with us. After years of buying from shows and online groups, too many purchases ended the same way: mislabeled plants, disappointing variegation, or stock that never recovered from shipping.
So we stopped dropshipping third-party cuttings and started growing out our own stock. Every plant on Anton Pace spends months in our care before being listed. That means the photos you see show the exact plant you get — real leaf counts, actual sizes, and true variegation, never stock images.
Our shipping process is built around plant health, not box cost: insulated heat packs when temperatures drop below 40°F, moss-wrapped root balls, and custom packing so nothing shifts in transit. We still hand-pack every order and answer care emails personally. If something isn’t right when it arrives, we replace it — no debate.
